I have dreamed of having a snow day for years, and now that I'm actually living in a place that gets snow, I finally got one!!! What's funny is it really isn't all that much snow. Haha, But oh well, once they declared the institution closed there was no taking it back!
So what better way to spend a snow day than beating the water temple in Ocarina of Time. >< Pretty much one of the best ways to spend it if you ask me.
So yeah, heh, I haven't made a new journal entry in over a year. O_o A lot has gone on since then, namely, finishing high school and getting into the meat of my second semester of college up here at NAU. Oh, and switching my major to English instead of Journalism, that's gonna happen for next year. Cuz I have the stereotypical look of a reporter and the physical capacity to write a good "story," but I found out by joining the school paper this semester that I am noooooo reporter. SO I'm switching. :>
And my icon and user name still ring true with me minoring in instrumental performance. Wooooo bass trombone!! Have a recital coming up on my birthday, so that'll be fun. :> In all seriousness. It will. No sarcasm intended. Even though I realize this totally sound like sarcasm..... but really, seriously... lol
Though perhaps the best summary I can offer of the times I've had at college consists of two small words: role play. To the max. Started reading one in depth first semester, and now am involved in one this semester. Will from Illusion of Gaia (me) and Ghirahim from Legend of Zelda Skyward Sword (pikminAAA (Alyssa (My partner in crime in writing the Illusion of Gaia comic (which is happening, it will happen, it just takes a long time to write out an entire massive comic ><)))). But yeah, role playing has been awesome. SOOOOOOOOOO AWESOME!!!!
Though, I do have a boring life to take care up and see that I have a successful future and crap. So it's not all fun and games. But such is life. I am so grateful for this snow day to give this week a little boost of extra excitement and happiness!!
